Nanna Bech Returns with New Song “Little fish”
Danish singer-songwriter Nanna Bech returned with a new song “Little fish” on December 27, 2024.
The song is her first music in three years since the 2021 single “Traffic Light”.
The song touches on her experiences with the distortions that exist in the music industry.
It was written Nanna Bech and produced by Søren Bigum.
The accompanying music video was directed by her brother Laue Bech and Nanna Bech herself.
Nanna Bech said of the song, “I was canceled by my booking agency on the grounds that I was 'sell too little draft beer at the concerts'. And that's probably right enough. But if another booking agency is on the way, I'll probably have to put in more effort with those draft beers! Well, but I wrote a song about it. The song touches on the distortion that exists in the music industry. It's called Little Fish, and I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you.”- She added, “I would like to thank Kristine Kier for putting on the most beautiful strings. Kristine is brilliant on a violin, but for this song she also taught herself to play the cello. Thanks to Mette Marie Jensen Ørnstrup, who plays on a hollowed-out pumpkin - a calabash in a tub of water – and it sounds so amazing. And thanks to Annamarie Roselil Søndergaard for putting on a beautiful choir. Last but not least, thanks to Søren Bigum - Søren Bigum, who put on all the other instruments, provided inputs and mixed.
