Ed Sheeran Releases New Live Album “+-=÷× (Tour Collection: Live)”
British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran released a new live album “+-=÷× (Tour Collection: Live)” on December 27, 2024.
The album follows up his new compilation album, “+-=÷× (Tour Collection)”, which was released in September 2024 and brings together from the decade-spanning mathematical album era, including 2011's “+”, 2014's “x”, 2017's “÷”, 2021's “=” and 2023's “-”.
Ed Sheeran recorded the album during his Mathematics World tour.
The album comprises 50 songs, including 26 live versions and 24 studio versions.
Ed Sheeran said of the album, “I've had so many fans along the way ask me to make a live album, as I know my show is something that people like sometimes more than my recorded work. It never felt right up to now. Mathematics has been a culmination of everything since 2010, both the tour, and the collection of songs, so it felt right to do a Live collection of the songs from the tour. It sounds bloody wicked, I hope you like it.”- He added, “The Mathematics Tour has been such an Incredible journey. It's taken me places all over the world, and I've been able to share so many amazing experiences with all of you. Thats why the live edition of the Mathematics tour collection is so special. Thank you for being a part of it. Until the next.”
