Blossoms Releases New Covers Album “Gary's Covers”
British alt-pop band Blossoms, consisting of Tom Ogden (lead vocals/guitar), Charlie Salt (bass), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards), released their covers album “Gary's Covers” on December 20, 2024.
The album is the covers edition of their fifth studio album “Gary”, which was released back in September.
The album comprises a 8-track, featuring classic hits by Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Radiohead, Lady Gaga, Mario, Neil Diamond, Caroline Polachek, and The Real Thing.
For Blossoms, this is not the first covers album. Back in 2020, the band released a covers album “Blossoms In Isolation”, which they made during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Also, the band teamed up with Rick Astley for their Smiths supergroup covers band, which made a surprise appearance at Glastonbury 2023.
