Litany Releases New Song “Hello, Anxiety” featuring Kai Bosch
London-based singer-songwriter Litany released a new song “Hello, Anxiety” on December 20, 2024.
This time, she teamed up with London-based singer-songwriter Kai Bosch on the track. It is their first collaboration.
The song is the third single of 2024, following “Jelly Tot and “Future Us”.
Also, three songs will appear on her upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2025.
The track was written by Beth Cornell, Kai Dickson-Graham, and Matt McLuckie. Produced by Fyfe and Earl Saga.
The accompanying lyric video was directed by Marieke Macklon, who filmed in Brighton.
Litany said of the song, “Despite living the life I'd so desperately craved, making life-long, like-minded friends, writing songs full-time and attending glitzy London parties, my untreated past trauma manifests in crippling anxiety leading to everything I'd worked so hard for crashing down around me. Again.”- She added, “So honoured and grateful to have the incomparable Kai Bosch on this lil ditty about anxiety pissing on your bonfire. We made a karaoke video in Brighton for you and it's as camp as Christmas.”
Kai Bosch said, “Been a fan of Beth for bloody years so imagine the shock I had when she asked me to be on her song about anxiety and music industry troubles lol never related harder in my life. Bloody love this one, thank you Litany for letting me into your world, this feels like the perfect way to round off the year and i'm so glad i get to do it with a pal by my side.” -
The previous song “Future Us” was written by Beth Cornell, Callum Connell, James New, and James William Clarke. Produced by Fyfe and Sfven.
Litany said of the previous song, “This is a fantasy based on the person I loved having to move veeerrrry far away for work. Unlike IRL, rather than calling it a day, we both agreed to make it work! Do the whole long distance thing because future us will thank us for it, it'll be worth it! How bittersweet eh!” - source : Apple Music
