  • Tom Misch Releases New EP “Six Songs”

  • London-based singer-songwriter Tom Misch released a new EP “Six Songs” on December 20, 2024.

The EP is his first project in a year and four months since the album “Happy Music” released as his electronic project Supershy.
This collection is largely consisting of songs originally written between 2018 and 2021, featuring a guest appearance from British rapper Loyle Carner, produced by Tom Misch, Adam Jaffrey, Miles James, and Nate Mercereau

Tom Misch said of the EP, “A collection of songs including the ones I've already been putting out, mostly older songs need to see the light of day before I start releasing my album next year... so stay tuned. And 2025 is gunna bring you the album I've been working on.. very happy to stat releasing music again. I've missed it.”

He added, “Shout out to my mum Carol Misch on the beautiful artwork! The pigeons represent the release of these songs… that allow me to move on to the present with newer music. I hope you enjoy.”
  • Tom Misch explained about some tracks for the EP.

    “Insecure”
“Co-written with Jimmy Napes, ‘Insecure’ serves as a compelling testament to Misch’s artistic evolution, effortlessly weaving together his signature blend of introspective lyricism, hypnotic rhythms and sumptuous instrumentation. With a raw honesty that cuts to the core, Misch lays bare his vulnerabilities, inviting listeners into a world of unfiltered emotion.”

  • “Colourblind” featuring Loyle Carner
Loyle Carner: “Me & tom in his old bedroom, the first time we made music together. At the time his bio on soundcloud said 'I don’t work with rappers so don’t ask'...”

    “Cinnamon Curls”
“I made Cinnamon Curls back in 2018 in one of my first sessions in LA with a producer called Nate Mercereau. We got the original idea down in the session and then I took it into another session with Jimmy Napes to work on the lyrics. It’s always had a very hazy, LA vibe to me and I’m glad to finally get it out”

    “Falling For You”
Co-writer Charlie Allen: “We started writing “Falling For You” the very first time I met Tom. He reached out on IG back in early 2021, we set up a writing session/jam at his place and the instrumental for that song was probably the first thing we played together. Great to hear it out in the world at last.”

    “Better Days”
“I wrote ‘Better Days’ with Jimmy Napes back in 2019. It’s great to release something that feels more stripped back and acoustic.”
