Pardyalone Releases New EP “Chasing Shadows”
Los Angeles-based hip-hop singer-songwriter Pardyalone released a new EP “Chasing Shadows” on December 18, 2024.
The EP is his first project since the album “Alone In a Dive Bar”, which was released back in January.
The EP comprises 6 songs, written by Coleridge Tillman and Kalvin Beal, and produced by Coleridge Tillman, Dobetter, Jono Dorr, and L3GION.
Pardyalone said of the EP, “Who am I chasing? Am I just the shadow of who I want to be, who I will be or who I was... I found content in knowing I am a misfit, an outerst if you will. There's a strange stillness, quite enjoy. A strange longing for chasing absolutely nothing.”- Pardyalone explained track-by-track for the EP.

“Sometimes you need to get out of your own way. Some times you need to sit still. Sometimes you need to feel like ghosts. This is one of my favorite songs I've ever dropped. There's something about how this one feels. It feels like unanswered prayers. It's the demons that I'm fighting that nobody knows about, not even you. It's the voice in my head. It's chasing something when I don't even know who's doing the chasing. It's transactional love. It's so easy to fall into that. It's so easy to feel invisible. So easy to feel like ghosts.”
