Amelia Moore Releases New Remix of “see through” featuring Coco Jones, Absolutely & Samara Cyn
Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Amelia Moore released a new remix of “see through” on December 20, 2024.
The original version of the song is featured on Amelia Moore's latest EP “he's just not that into you!”, which was released back in July.
This time, she teamed up with American singer-songwriter Coco Jones, British singer-songwriter Absolutely and Los Angeles-based rapper Samara Cyn on the remix.
The track was written by 'Pop' Wansel, Abby Keen, Amelia Moore, Courtney Jones, jackson lee morgan, Kyle Buckley, Samara Cyn, Theron Thomas. Produced by Pink Slip.
The accompanying lyric video was directed by Luciana Baldovino and Bridget Rose Taylor.
Amelia Moore shared on social media, “Special thanks to... Pink Slip, Jackson Lee Morgan for making the og see through with me!!! I've always loved this song sm and to breath new life into it is soooo fierce to me. Bridget Rose Taylor + Luciana Baldovino for shooting these cutesie iconic visuals. Coco Jones, Samara Cyn, Absolutely y'all ATE TF DOWN. My first female features video. Keyan Miao for stylinggggg. Fun fact Coco was surprise last minute edition and we had no idea she was gonna get on it when we did this [remix cover art] shoot had to crop her in on one of the photos for y'all LOL.”- The new EP comprises 8 songs, produced by Blake Straus, dwilly, inverness, Jonathan Bach, OAK, Pink Slip, Timbaland and Trackside.
The title of the project nods to the 2009 romcom “He's Just Not That Into You”.
Amelia said, “In the opening scene, Ginnifer Goodwin's character talks about how as kids, we were trained to think that when a boy is mean to a girl, that means he has a crush on her…and how this has completely impacted the way that adult women navigate dating! Based off of all of my experiences, I wanted to make a mixtape you could send to your bestie to help them get through a situationship. For the longest time, I've been writing about the heartbreak and sadness I've felt over someone, but this music feels so much more like who I actually am.” - source : Apple Music
