Natisa Gogol Drops New Music Video for “Heavens Create”
Prague-based Ukrainian singer-songwriter Natisa Gogol has dropped a new music video for “Heavens Create” directed by Stas Morozov.
The song was released last month and tells the story of a profound connection forged by the heavens.
The track was written by Andrii Pasichnyk, Gregory Darling, Natisa Gogol, and Noanne.
Natisa Gogol said of the song, “I've had this experience in my own life, so I know what I'm talking about.”
The video was filmed in Natisa Gogol's homeland of Lviv, Ukraine.
The concept was based on five Renaissance paintings, Christ in the Storm on the Sea of Galilee by Rembrandt, The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli, Primavera by Botticelli, The School of Athens from the Raphael Rooms and The Arnolfini Portrait by Jan van Eyck.
Natisa Gogol said of the video, “I can say that this video is the most anticipated release of my career. My team and I waited nearly 10 months for the final version, as we had to make constant revisions, and, admittedly, there were some significant disagreements along the way. But in the end, I believe we achieved true art.”- Natisa Gogol shared on social media. “We have been waiting for this music video for almost a year. The shoot took place in February last year in Lviv, and I still remember that incredible creative process with Ukrainian director Stas Morozov. This project has become one of the most anticipated in my career - so much effort, time, and emotion were invested in every detail to bring our vision to life.”
She continued, “We went through endless discussions, made countless revisions, and tried to capture that exact energy we wanted to convey. It was a real challenge, as we had so many debates and disagreements about what the video should look like. But it was this long journey that gave our work its special meaning, making it unique and unlike anything we've done before.”
She added, “This video became the most complex and energy-intensive project for me. We experimented, took risks, and aimed for perfection.” - source : Apple Music
