  • Robbie Williams Releases New Version of “Angels” featuring Adam Tucker from Original Motion Picture “Better Man” Soundtrack

  • British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams released a new version of “Angels” on December 6, 2024.

The song is featured on his upcoming biopic “Better Man” soundtrack, which is set to be released on December 27, 2024 via Columbia Records.
This time, British singer-songwriter Adam Tucker performed Robbie Williams's singing voice on the track.
The original version of the song was released from his debut solo album “Life thru a Lens” in 1997.
The song reached No. 4 on the UK Singles chart and is his best-selling single, which has copied over 2 million in the UK.
He reworked the song for his 2022 compilation album XXV as “Angels (XXV)” in 2022.
The track was written by Guy Chambers and Robbie Williams. Produced by Jason Hill.

Adam Tucker said, "You spend so long grinding away trying to get the next gig, so getting the part was one of those pinch-me moments. I went to the London premiere and hearing my voice play out across the cinema was amazing."
Currently, Adam Tucker plans to release his original song. He said, “Creating my own music has always been my true passion and I can't wait to share these songs with the world.”
  • The new film “Better Man” is his semi-biographical film, which was directed by Michael Gracey.
In the film, Robbie Williams is portrayed as a chimpanzee with CGI, performed by Jonno Davies using motion capture, and Adam Tucker played Robbie Williams's singing Voice.
The film is schedule to be released on December 25, 2024 via Paramount Pictures.
The soundtrack comprises 13 songs, including his past smash hits “Feel”, “Something Beautiful”, “Rock DJ”, “Come Undone”, and “She's the One”.
The artwork for the soundtrack is an homage to his album cover, "Life Thru a Len”.
  • Director Michael Gracey said, “Robbie would say things like, 'I'm up the back dancing like a monkey.' After a while, I thought, 'Wouldn't it be amazing to represent Robbie as a monkey in the film?' Because Robbie is telling this story - and that's how he sees himself.”
