Ryder Releases New Song “Queen Viper's Kiss”
New York-based hard rock band Ryder, consisting of James Ryder (vocals/rhythm guitar), Max Knight (guitar), Rod Viquez (bass) and Nick Bavaro (drums), released a new song “Queen Viper's Kiss” on December 13, 2024.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming sophomore album “Menagerie”, following “Southbound” released last month.
The track was written by James Butka, Massimo Vetrano, Nicholas Bavaro, and Rodolfo Viquez. Produced by Max Knight.
The band said of the song, “This track is a venomous tale of betrayal and survival, wrapped in a ferocious mix of searing vocals and relentless guitar riffs. 'Queen Viper's Kiss' captures the essence of resilience and strength amidst chaos.”
The new album is set to be released on January 31, 2025. It is their first album in five years since 2020 debut album “Killer Karma”.
The album comprises 10 songs, which the band recorded with producer Max Knight at Phantom Studios in New York.
It is the first release following a lineup change in January 2024.- The said of the album, “Menagerie represents a bold new chapter for Ryder. Following a lineup change in January 2024, this is the first album to feature the band’s fresh dynamic and renewed creative energy. The record is a vivid tapestry of human experience, blending raw emotion with powerful instrumentation. Each track offers a unique lens into themes of struggle, triumph, and identity, reflecting Ryder’s evolution as artists. From blistering hard rock anthems to haunting melodies, Menagerie showcases the band’s ability to tell stories that resonate deeply while delivering high-energy, unforgettable performances.”
