The Disruptors Drops New Animated Music Video for “King of the Push Away”
Boston-based guitarist and singer-songwriter Kenny Weill's studio-based alt-rock band, The Disruptors dropped their new animated music video for “King of the Push Away” created by 19th and 7th on December 13, 2024.
The song is featured on their debut album “The Virus Sessions”, which was released in 2022.
It was written by Kenny Weill and produced by BKY Studios.
The animated music video only enhances the song’s depth, blending nostalgic and modern rock elements to create a captivating joint visual and auditory experience.
Kenny Weill said of the song, “King of the Push-Away is about a man who fails to live in the present and appreciate those who open themselves up to him. He never fully commits to a relationship and, as a result, in a way is always alone.”- The Disruptors was formed in 2019 by Kenny Weill. The band's music ranges from indie pop to alternative rock to a bit of blues with pointed lyrics both social/political and personal.
