Will Smith & Joyner Lucas Team Up for New Song “TANTRUM”
American actor and rapper Will Smith joined forces with American rapper Joyner Lucas again to release a new song “TANTRUM” on December 13, 2024.
This marks the second collaboration between Will Smith and Joyner Lucas since the 2020 remix of “Will”.
For Will Smith, the song is the fourth single of 2024 via independent label SLANG, following “You Can Make It” with Fridayy and Sunday Service Choir, “WORK OF ART” featuring Jaden, and “TEAM TOMODACHI” remix.
While, Joyner Lucas joined in the song following the release of his sophomore album “Not Now, I'm Busy”, which was released back in March.
The track was written by Gary Maurice Lucas, Leo Edward Son JR, and Willard Smith. Produced by Joyner Lucas and Leo Son.
The accompanying animated music video was directed by Joyner Lucas and Matthew Bordenave.
Will Smith raps about his past, exploring trauma, ego, and the actor's inner child on the track.- Back in June, when Will Smith released his first solo single in nearly two decades, he shared on social media, “Through some of my darkest moments, music has always been there for me - to lift me and help me grow. It's my humble wish that it can do the same for you and bring you all the joy and light you deserve.”
