Will Sass Releases New Song “Fairweather Friends” featuring Nina Nesbitt
New York-based electronic music producer Will Sass joined forces with Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt to release a new song “Fairweather Friends” on December 12, 2024.
This marks the second collaboration between Will Sass and Nina Nesbitt since his previous song “Into The Blue”, featuring kamille, which they co-wrote.
The song is a bold, anthemic call-out to fleeting, shallow connections. The lyrics transform the personal into the universal, delivering a cathartic message for anyone who’s ever had to let go of people who only stick around when it’s convenient.
The track was written by Nina Nesbitt and Will Sass. Produced by Will Sass and DallasK.
Will Sass said of the song, “Everyone has had this experience at some point in their lives where they decide it’s time to cut ties with fake friends.”
He added, “I thought I’d written something really great and Nina Nesbitt made it even better than I could have imaged. We ended writing 2 more tracks together, I just love working with this unbelievable queen.”- Nina Nesbitt said, “I’ve spent a lot of time writing with upcoming artists the past couple of years and I have loved working with Will. When he asked me to feature on Fairweather Friends I was really excited to be involved in one of his first releases. I had the pleasure of writing Will’s last song, 'Into The Blue,' with him and Kamille, so it’s nice to be singing on this one! He had such a clear story of what 'Fairweather Friends' meant to him, so it’s great to be able to bring it to life together.”
