HAYLA Drops New Music Video for “Only I”
London-based singer-songwriter HAYLA dropped a new music video for “Only I” directed by Daniel Mutton on December 5, 2024.
The song is featured on her debut album “DUSK”, which was released via Restless Minds Music/Believe UK last month.
The intoxicating track, co-written and produced by Blanke, shows a vulnerable HAYLA longing for a love lost.
Hayla said of the song, “You held the night as the main thought on my mind. The stillness of darkness and the loop I can fall into before dreams take over. You're with someone else. Only I'm without you.”
The debut album is the ten-track collection, which recorded over three years, consists of all original songs along multiple styles and genres, penned and performed by HAYLA with production from a variety of producers including Andy Sheldrake, Blanke, Carl Ryder & Nick Henriques and more.- HAYLA told Arielle Free of BBC Radio 1's Dance Party about the album, “It's been the most amazing journey, and I'm just loving it so much. I think it's like, the vision of, kind of what we wanted to have out there. It's like this sort of dark, moodier, kind of like world, and it's amazing. I've been able to work with so many amazing creative people, this whole team that we've been working with on this, like, the last sort of six months into what it is now. It's just really, really driven home this sort of, like, stylized idea.”
