Quavo Teams Up with Luke Bryan & Teddy Swims for New Song “Georgia Ways”
American rapper Quavo teamed up with American country music singer-songwriter Luke Bryan and American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims to release a new song “Georgia Ways” on December 6, 2024.
This marks the first time Quavo, Luke Bryan and Teddy Swims have worked together.
The song celebrates three artists' home of Georgia, honoring how the state shaped their careers.
The song was debuted during the University of Georgia versus Georgia Tech football game last week, which Quavo attended.
Also, the song will be featured on SEC Championship on December 7, 2024 via ESPN.
The track was written by Curtis Baldwin, David Ray Stevens, Jackson Nance, Jaten Dimsdale II, Jeffrey Garrison. Luke Bryan. Marcus Lomax, Quavious Marshall, and Thomas Edwards. Produced by Jeffrey Garrison, Jackson Nance, and Westen Weiss.
The accompanying music video was directed by Wyatt Spain, who filmed in the Georgia backcountry.- Co-writer Jackson Nance told The Tennessean about the song, “When artists at this level understand and trust the opinions of producers and songwriters (to convey) what the culture of cities, states and a genre want to hear, great things can happen. This song could (represent) a special, life-changing opportunity. There's something for everyone in this song. Luke Bryan over 808s and Quavo and Teddy Swims with acoustic guitars - and its just a cool song.”

Co-writer David Ray Stevens added, “Songs that this one, as much as anything Beyoncé, Post Malone or Shaboozey made or that culture embraced, achieve Nashville's broad potential as an industry and town. We're finally making music beyond your grandparents, mom, or dad's assembly line-style Nashville country music. It's like what Quavo said when he left the studio: 'Man, I didn't realize Nashville had the sauce like this.'” - source : Apple Music
