Huddy Teams Up with Palaye Royale for New Song “Cyanide”
American singer-songwriter Huddy, formerly LilHuddy, teamed up with American rock band Palaye Royale to release a new song “Cyanide” on November 15, 2024.
This marks the first collaboration between Huddy and Palaye Royale.
But Huddy appeared on Palaye Royale's music video for “Just My Type” as a cameo, which was released back in May.
For Huddy, the single is the first release under his new label VERSWIRE.
The track was written by Chase Hudson, Dylan Rouda, Heather Sommer, Keith Varon, Remington Leith, and Wes Period. Produced by Keith Varon and Dylan Rouda.
Huddy said of the song, “'Cyanide' is the song that dives into my mind. It shows you how I’ve kept to myself with a deep understanding of the world around us, and that confidence isn’t something to be afraid of. I’m well aware of how people have treated me - whether they hate me, love me, or just want to use me, I can see right through it. I know who I am, and so does Remington [of Palaye Royale], and it’s time the world gets to know that.”
He added, “Two years in the making. We just made history with this one. I couldn't be prouder of how far we've come.”- The music video for the song was directed by Juan Flores Mena and premiered on December 5, 2024.
The video was filmed in Cologne, Germany, and features footage from Huddy's tour.
Hudd said of the video, “We shot this video in hail & rain in Köln Germany outside of the cathedral. We've been shooting this video all tour.” - source : Apple Music
