Ben Rodrigues Releases New Song “Tell Me How”
South African singer-songwriter Ben Rodrigues released his brand new song “Tell Me How” on November 29, 2024.
The song is the third single since his debut this year, following “Was It Real” and “One Last Chance”.
Also, three songs will appear on his upcoming debut EP, which is expected to be released in 2025.
The track was written by Aidin Nortje, Ben Rodrigues, and Devon Murray. Produced by We Could Be Related, Devon Murray, and Aidin Nortje, who also produced his previous songs.
Ben Rodrigues said of the song, “The chorus came together in just ten minutes. The next day, I took the instrumental to the beach, where I do most of my writing, and remembered lyrics from an old song I'd written. Everything just clicked. It's about navigating the frustrations and misunderstandings of modern relationships. As much as Ben Rodrigues is a solo act, none of this would be possible without my team.”- Ben Rodriguez reflected on the year on social media, “9 years ago I picked up the guitar for the first time. 7 years ago I started singing. 6 years ago I wrote my first song. Took me another 4 years to record and release my music, I got into rap and put down the guitar… It went nowhere. 8 months ago I started again. This time trusting God and going back to why I fell in love with music in the first place, I picked up my guitar. Wrote Was It Real and Flaws that month. 6 months ago I released my 'first' song. And within those 6 months, you guys have showed me that anything is possible. You've changed my life forever.”
