The Velvet Hands Releases New Song “Caller”
London-based rock band The Velvet Hands, consisting of Toby Mitchell (vocals/guitar), Dan Able (guitar), Louis Mitchell (drums) and John Logan (bass), released a new single called “Caller” on November 29, 2024.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming EP, which is expected to be released in spring 2025.
The EP is their first project in two years since the 2023 album “Sucker Punch”.
The band recorded the song at Cube Studios in Cornwall and mastered in London.
The track was written by Dan Able and Toby Mitchell. Produced by John Logan and Jamx Jules.
The band frontman Toby Mitchell said of the song, “Our single 'Caller' to me, is about acceptance. Accepting that sometimes you need help, that sometimes relationships end, that sometimes friends die.. but also that sometimes life will be kind to you. It was written in mine and Dan’s flat one spring afternoon and fills me with sadness and hope in equal measure every time we play it.”- Photo by Wiktoria Wolny
