Lauren Presley Releases New Song “People Leave”
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Lauren Presley released her brand new song “People Leave” on November 29, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “H-I-N-T”, which was released in September.
It was written by Amy Asher, Kendall Brower Goodman, Lauren Presley, and Rich Harris.
Produced by Rich Harris, who also produced her previous songs of 2024, “H-I-N-T”, “AMERICAS SWEETHEARTS”, “Should've Dated Your Bestfriend”, “God Complex”, and “Tiptoe”.
Lauren Presley said of the song, “We wrote this song about having past trauma from people walking out of your life, especially at a young age. And how as an adult that fear of abandonment still sticks with you, and comes out in your relationships even the healthy ones. It’s like it’s engraved in you and you can’t help it, but you try your best to trust again.”- She shared on social media, “This feels like the start of a new era. I’ve been so excited about this one since the day we wrote it. This came from such a real place within me and so writing it and putting it out has been so freeing for me. My music is literally all of my thoughts & feelings & experiences word vomited onto paper (a google doc actually). I hope you love it as much as I do.”
