No Real Hero Releases New EP “H”
Montreal-based punk rock band No Real Hero, consisting of Denis Joannette (vocals), Phil Bélanger (guitar), Fred Bizier (guitar), Chris Joannetrte (bass/synths) and Luc Doucet (drums), released their new EP “H” on November 22, 2024.
The EP is their first project in six years since the 2018 EP “The Forest”.
The EP comprises 5 tracks, which were written by Denis Joannette, Phil Bélanger, Fred Bizier, Chris Joannetrte and Luc Doucet, and produced by Vincent Coté.
The album artwork was designed by Denis Jr Joannette.
On the EP, the band combines punk rock, post-hardcore, with intriguing elements of pop and electronic music.
Originally, the band started as a hard rock outfit, but the EP encapsulates their progression, delivering a blend of genres and a willingness to experiment.
