Rahim Redcar Covers SOPHIE's “It's ok to cry”
French singer-songwriter Rahim Redcar, formerly of Christine and the Queens, released a cover of the late Scottish music producer SOPHIE's “It's ok to cry” on November 22, 2024.
The song is his first single since the fifth studio album “HOPECORE”, which was released in September.
The original version of the song was released by SOPHIE as the first single from her debut album “Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides” in 2017. The album was released in 2018, which is the only album to be released in her lifetime.
SOPHIE died in 2021 after accidentally falling three floors from the rooftop of a building in Athens, Greece, while attempting to take a picture of the full moon.
