Lyubov Kay Releases New Song “cU”
Toronto-based singer-songwriter Lyubov Kay released her brand new song “cU” on November 22, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to supernatural, which was released back in September.
The track explores the magnetic pull of dreams and memories through a sultry and vibrant pop sound, featuring Latin-inspired rhythms and a magnetic, danceable beat.
The track was written by Lyubov Kay, and co-produced by Peruvian David Cabrera Morillos.
Lyubov Kay said of the song, “This song makes me feel nostalgic yet hopeful. It's about missing someone and wanting to see them in my dreams, but it also has an energy that makes you want to dance. It's like channeling those emotions into movement, turning longing into something uplifting.”- Lyubov Kay writes, co-produces and directs original content that blends the pop, rock and EDM genres.
She describes the subconscious tendency to make connections between people and the world around us as the inspiration behind these tracks.
Lyubov Kay said, “Everything around you is suddenly a reminder of your losses. Instead of moving forward, you feel as though you’re moving backwards, and that feels unfair.” -
