Remy Reilly Releases New Song “Dirty Work”
Texas-based indie-pop singer-songwriter Remy Reilly released her brand new single called “Dirty Work” on November 22, 2024.
The song is the third single of 2024, following “Yes Man” and “Half Price Books”.
On the track, inspired by her own experiences, Remy Reilly reflects on past relationships and explores the challenges of moving beyond them to embrace self-love.
She co-wrote the song with her father Remy Reilly Nicholson, and recorded at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas with producer John Pedigo.
She has already filmed a music video for the song with directer Travis Beverly, which will premiere on December 5, 2024.
“'Dirty Work' is like my own personal diary entry,” Remy Reilly said of the song. “It's a song about the fear of intimacy, the fear of not being enough, and the comparison of others.”- She added, “I wrote this song when I was in a dark place on my self-love journey, and I hope it comforts others who share the same struggles and helps them realize we all are worthy of love."
Remy Reilly shared on social media, “This song is incredibly personal and important to me. When I wrote this song, I had this quote in mind, as it hangs on my wall. 'People can love you exactly as you are' - Fred Rogers. I'm so stoked to show you what we did for this project.” -
