Scottish singer-songwriter Blair Gilmour released his debut song “Burning Up” on November 22, 2024.
The song is an energetic anthem that was written at a songwriting camp in Spain.
It was written by Blair Daniel Gilmour, Cal Roberts, and Calum Bennett. Produced by Jamie Sellers.
The track explores being so emotionally attached that you are willing to sacrifice your mental well-being to maintain that connection, featuring upbeat percussion, jangly guitars, and catchy lyrics.
On the track, Blair Gilmour asks the question: “How can you love something or someone so much that you know it is bad for you and your mental health, but you’re still in it for the chase?”- Blair Gilmour shared on social media, “The response to my first single 'Burning Up' has been insane, my expectations have been completely blown out of the water.
