The Knocks Drops New Music Video for “Stay Gold” with POWERS
Back in 2022, New York-based electro-pop duo The Knocks, consisting of Ben Ruttner and James Patterson, released their third studio album “HISTORY”.
Two years later, the duo dropped a new music video for “Stay Gold” from the album on November 24, 2024.
The duo teamed up with Los Angeles-based electronic pop duo POWERS on the track.
The track was written by Kaelyn Behr, Benjamin Ruttner, Crista Russo, James Patterson, and Mike Del Rio. Produced by The Knocks.
The video was directed by Corey Wadden, starring Juliet Doherty, Danielle Clifford, and Nora Franklin.
The Knocks said of the video, “The HISTORY era has come to a close and to celebrate, 'Stay Gold' w/ POWERS, the album finale, has finally gotten the music video treatment it deserves! This song is personal to us and director Corey Wadden brought it to life with a vision that was inspiring us to self-reflect on the last few yrs and look back at versions of our younger selves.
