Tiny Habits Releases New Song “For Sale Sign” featuring Lizzy McAlpine
American folk-pop vocal trio Tiny Habits, consisting of Cinya Khan, Maya Rae and Judah Mayowa, teamed up with Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine to release a new song “For Sale Sign” on November 21, 2024.
This marks the fourth collaboration between Tiny Habits and Lizzy McAlpine, following NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert in 2022, Lizzy McAlpine's “Pushing It Down and Praying” and “Spring Into Summer”, and Canadian singer-songwriter JP Saxe's “Everything Ends”.
For Tiny Habits, the song is their first music since their debut album “All For Something”, which was released back in July.
The track was written by Anne K Dubrinsky, Cinya Khan, Judah Mayowa, Justin Gammella, and Maya Schwartz-Dardick. Produced by Mason Stoops.
Cinya Khan said of the song, “'For Sale Sign' has lived with us for a while now and we'd been hoping for the right time and circumstances to put it into the world. It means a lot to us and reminds us about how special life is and just how lucky we are to live it.”- Maya Rae said, “It's a very special song for us, and I remember feeling really moved by it when we wrote it, so I'm very excited for the world to finally be able to listen.”
Judah Mayowa said, “This song really gave us a new perspective on writing and challenged our storytelling. I'm still constantly moved by this song and so grateful for the experience of writing it.”
