Kesha Drops New Music Video for “JOYRIDE”
American singer-songwriter Kesha dropped a new music video for “JOYRIDE” on November 21, 2024.
The video was directed by Kesha, Laura Gorun, Dimitri Basil and Cooper Roussel, starring Marc Hertle, Anna Malygon, Neil Stephens, and Mike O'Hearn.
The clip is an homage to Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill series.
The song was released back in July as the first single from her own label Kesha Records.
Also, it is her first song since she settled the defamation lawsuit with Dr. Luke in June 2023. She filed a suit against the producer in 2014 alleging sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.
Kesha said, “Animals. I've waited for this day for more than half of my life. All of my adult life. There is so much more that I have to say, and experiences we have to share. This is the time for our joy ride. We made it... and I wasn't alone thanks to each of you. Thank you. So much is on the horizon… But for now... Freedom. I've been waiting for you.”
The track was written by Kesha, Madison Love, and Zhone who also produced it.
