spill tab Returns with New Song “PINK LEMONADE”
Los Angeles-based French-Korean singer-songwriter spill tab returned with a new song “PINK LEMONADE” on November 20, 2024.
The song is the first solo single since the EP “KLEPTO”, which was released last July.
Also, the track is the first release under her new label Because Music and will appear on her upcoming debut album.
It was written by Claire Chicha, David Marinelli, Jared Solomon, and John DeBold. Produced by Solomonophonic, marinelli, John DeBold, and spill tab.
The accompanying music video was directed by sweetiepie (Ethan Frank and Neema Sadeghi).
“'PINK LEMONADE' was made on a chaotic day at John's back house studio,” spill tab said of the song. “We took a 40-minute jam, cut it up, spliced it around, and used that as the foundation, adding more quirky guitar lines and unconventional drums. It's fitting because the song is about feeling discombobulated in life—feeling disconnected from my body, anxious, and wanting to escape into the cracks of the couch.”- She shared on social media, “A lot of big feelings associated with what's coming next, I spent a few of years looking outside of myself for a guiding light, straining for some big idea, for someone to say 'yeah this is right.' It took a while to understand I have all that sht inside of me, and the best thing I could ever do for myself is to make the music I want to hear, and with the friends I want to make it with!! I am so lovingly grateful for anyone that has followed the spilliam journey so far, and I am so excited for you guys to finally hear what's next....”
