Ela Minus Releases New Song “UPWARDS”
Brooklyn-based Colombian singer-songwriter Ela Minus released the third single called “UPWARDS” from her upcoming sophomore album “DIA” on November 20, 2024.
The new album is set to be released on January 17, 2025 via Domino Records.
The song is accompanied by a music video, directed by Albert Estruch and Marc Sancho.
The track was written and produced by Ela Minus, with co-written by Katie O'Neill.
Ela Minus said of the song, “'Upwards' is a zippy, futuristic tune about 'safeguarding yourself, your body, and your soul'”- The new album comprises a 10-track, with the opening track "ABRIR MONTE" summarizing her intentions for the album.
Ela Minus said, “'ABRIR MONTE' is a phrase commonly used where I'm from, referring to the act of opening paths through dense foliage. I've always loved the poetry of it.
