Amber Mark Premieres New Song “Wait So Yeah” on BBC Radio 1
American singer-songwriter Amber Mark premiered a new song “Wait So Yeah” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is the third and final pre-release single from her upcoming EP “Loosies”, which is out this Friday (November 22).
The track was written by Adrian Baker, Amber Mark, John Ryan, Kendrick Nicholls, Roy Morgan, Sherwyn Nicholls, and Steph Jones. Produced by Two Fresh and John Ryan.
“I mean, it's really just about going out and seeing the sunrise multiple times. And I've honestly lived that today, which is kind of random. It's very rare for me,” Amber Mark told Jack Saunders about the song. “I would say, definitely unaware of its surroundings. It was like such a happening by chance. We were writing another song that I absolutely love that's not out yet. And we were just taking a little bit of a break. And honestly, the boys started getting into this, like, kind of joke of an argument about who could rage harder. And me and Steph are just like rolling our eyes in the corner, but then they're going back and forth about who could rage harder. And Kendrick says, man, have you ever seen a sunrise twice, though? And I immediately was like, we have to write that down. That would be a sick line.”- She continued, “And then two minutes later, I kid you not, John is such a genius. He had the beat down. And we honestly just went line for line. We started with, 'have you ever seen a sunrise twice the wait?' So line was Steph and I in the mic, she's worked figuring out lyrics. It's her going like trying to dissect which section of the lyric, we're gonna use, and she's going, 'Wait So Yeah', we just like, put that in, and it became the hook line, and then we just started. I don't know, became the song about wanting to spend the night with somebody cute, and then just randomness.”

The new EP comprises 7 songs. It is her first project in two years since the 2022 album “Three Dimensions Deep”.
Amber Mark said of the EP, “As I've been working on so much music for the next album, this mini project just started coming together. It's loose, sweaty, and a little dance-floor. Mainly made at home by myself and with a few of my friends. The rest is coming, but this is a little thank you to anyone who's waiting for being so patient.” - source : BBC Radio 1
