Netta Returns with New Song “Big Love”
Israeli pop singer-songwriter Netta returned with a new song “Big Love” on November 14, 2024.
The song is her first English-language song in over a year since “Wonderful & Great”, and a beautiful, poignant plea for peace, understanding, and love.
The track was penned as a response to the horrific Israel-Hamas war which Netta experienced first-hand living in Israel during the October 7th attack.
It was written by Paul Duncan, Avshalom Ariel, Netta Barzilai, and TheRon 'Neff-U' Feemster who also produced the track.
Netta said of the song, “A year has passed, and this is still what I have to say to the world. Over the past year, I’ve witnessed darkness like never before—both within and around me. Every morning, I remind myself that love must prevail. I choose love. I let it define who I am and let it lead the way.”- Netta shared on social media, “Everything’s about the visual I wanted for big love was actually small. Raw and vulnerable. Due to the magnitude of the tragedy, I felt paralyzed and mute, defeated by darkness. Living and creating from a place of conflict resembles a feeling of a quicksand trap - the more you try to understand it - the deeper you sink. We all feel around here like we’re up to our necks sadness.”
