Lil Nas X Releases New Song “LIGHT AGAIN!”
American rapper Lil Nas X released a new song “LIGHT AGAIN!” along with a music video on November 15, 2024.
Originally, he posted the song to SoundCloud back in Mach. Finaly he officially released it via Columbia Records.
On the track, he worked with former Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, who co-wrote and co-produced it.
The song will appear on his upcoming project “Dreamboy”.
The track was written by Brandon Casey, Brian Casey, Bryan Cox, David Biral, Denzel Baptiste, Jasper Harris, Jermaine Dupri, Montero Lamar Hill, Nija Charles, Omer Fedi, and Thomas Bangalter. Produced by Take A Daytrip, Thomas Bangalter, Omer Fedi, Jasper Harris, and Lil Nas X.
The accompanying video was directed by Andrew Donoho, who is inspired by the 2012 film “Project X”.
Lil Nas X said of “Dreamboy”, “For so long I’ve tried to make every song get as much attention as possible. Due to my fear of everyone saying I’m a flop or feeling like less. But this time around I’m choosing my vision. Do I hope my songs do well? YESS but they are coming regardless and I’m standing behind them.”
