Addison Rae & Arca Team Up for New Remix “Aquamarine / Arcamarine”
American singer-songwriter Addison Rae joined forces with Barcelona-based DJ Arca to release a new remix called “Aquamarine / Arcamarine” on November 15, 2024.
This marks the first time Addison Rae and Arca have worked together.
The original version of the song was released by Addison Rae as “Aquamarine” last month.
Addison Rae has been a longtime Arca fan. She told Vogue in 2023, “I mean, I would love to work with Arca, obviously!. I just love her sound, and I think she’s so cool.”
The track was written by Addison Rae, Elvira Anderfjärd, and Luka Kloser. Produced by ArcaLuka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd.
Addison Rae said, “When I asked Arca if she’d be open or interested in remixing Aqua, I knew whatever she’d create would be pure magic. I haven’t stopped listening to it since I was sent the first demo. A manifestation made by me. Artwork by the lovely and talented Amber Wynne-Jones.
