FKA twigs Teams Up with Koreless for New Song “Drums of Death”
British singer-songwriter FKA twigs teamed up with British DJ Koreless to release a new song “Drums of Death” on November 14, 2024.
The song is third single off of her upcoming third studio album “EUSEXUA”, which is set to be released on January 24, 2025 via Young and Atlantic Records.
She first performed the song at her Met Gala party in May.
Originally, the song was created as an instrumental by Koreless on a flight to Berlin to perform at Berghain.
After that, FKA twigs and Tintin wrote lyrics or the song.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jordan Hemingway.
FKA twigs shared on social media, “Hard metal, silver stiletto. My third offering, Drums of Death, from EUSEXUA, a glitchfest served hot ON DEMAND for the face card divas. Mesexua, dollsexua, eusexua. Slaying fierce but tearing soft bolt your office chair to the floor girls and glitch till you impale your eusexua.”- The new album comprises 11 songs, produced by FKA Twigs, Koreless, Eartheater, Sasha, and Bapari. It is her first album in four years since the 2019 album “Magdalene”.
FKA twigs said of the album, “EUSEXUA has been my practice for the years that it has been in creation. it is my opus and truly feels like a pin at the centre of the core of my artist.
