PUNCHBAG Releases Debut Song “Pretty Youth”
London-based alt-pop brother-sister duo PUNCHBAG, consisting of Clara Bach (vocals) and Anders Bach (guitar), released their debut song “Pretty Youth” on November 13, 2024.
It's their first recorded release following a year of blistering live shows across the capital and beyond.
Along with the release of the song, the duo announced they play at The Great Escape festival in Brighton next year.
The track was written and produced by Clara Bach and Anders Bach.
The accompanying music live visualiser was directed by Jonni Wedge, who filmed at The Social in London.
PUNCHBAG said of the song, “Pretty Youth is our first release after it being a stand-out track from our year of sweaty but intense and crazy fun live shows. The song is a blend of raw grit and pure sugar about our journey through erratic highs and gross lows of the idealised 'coming of age' experience!”- The duo shared on social media, “We've been gigging since jan and 'Pretty Youth' has been one of our fav ones 2 play live, it was also the first song we properly made as PUNCHBAG how lovely is that. Anyway soo as a lil thank u for coming to the shows and jumping along w us we've released a visualiser from our last gig at the social on youtube now ! and then also have put it on bandcamp and soundcloud too! eee enjoy !!”
