  • AySay Releases New Song “Tu Bi Xêr Hatî” featuring NATURE

  • Denmark-based psych pop/rock band AySay, consisting of Luna Ersahin (vocals), Aske Døssing Bendixen (percussion) and Carl West Hosbond (guitar), teamed up with NATURE and Biophonica to release a new song “Tu Bi Xêr Hatî” on October 24, 2024.

This song is part of a collaboration with Sounds Right, a musical movement that celebrates the sounds of nature as art.
All profits from streaming will go to biodiversity and other really nice projects for mother earth.
The song title means “You Are Welcome” in Kurdish. It is a powerful and emotional piece that explores the beauty and significance of being born.
The track was written by Aske Døssing Bendixen, Carl West Hosbond, and Luna Bülow Ersahin. Produced by Aske Døssing Bendixen, Sacha Skarbek.
The band has already filmed a music video for the song, which will premiere this Friday (November 15).
  • The band lead singer Luna Ersahin said of the song, “'Tu Bi Xêr Hatî' means you're welcome and it's about basic need I think that all people should feel when they come to this earth and that is to feel welcome. In a world that is so troubled by war and by natural catastrophes. I wanted to focus on the beginning to hopefully spark some sort of hope in you. It's a warm song, I hope it will give you warmth in this winter. 'Tu Bi Xêr Hatî' collaborating with Nature. All the royalties from the stream will go to biodiversity and other really nice projects for our mother earth.”

  • The band shared on social media, “Thank you for this amazing process Sounds Right for inviting NATURE to write with us - try and hear what sounds we put into the song. All the streams you listen to will go to restore NATURE! The process of making the music video has been so intense, 30 minutes in a lake in October. Biophonica provided the sounds from NATURE!”

Luna Ersahin said of the video, “I've been in the lake half an hour. Half an hour was it half an hour? I lay for a long time in October. And now I'm warming up again, slowly. I just had a very intense experience with nature. I've never felt my muscles contact so much as I swarm. They were completely cold. Fuck, I'm freezing.”

Recently, the band was nominated for Name of the Year, Composers of the year, and Release of the year with “KÖY” at Danish Music Awards 2024.
