Mondaze Releases New Song “Lines of You”
Italian shoegaze band Mondaze, consisting of Matteo Vandelli (vocals/guitar), Margherita Mercatali (guitar), Lorenzo Capacci (bass) and Michele Leonardi (drum), will release their upcoming sophomore album “Linger” on November 22, 2024 via Bronson Recordings.
From the album, the band released a new song “Lines of You” on November 8, 2024.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “Son of the Rambling Dawn” and “Linger”.
It was written and produced by Margherita Mercatali, with production by Matteo Vandelli and Andrea Scardovi.
The accompanying music video was directed by Clement Pelo, starring Yannis Beck and Benedicte Bonpunt.
The track showcases the recurring tension between presence and absence, reflecting how this internal struggle is ever-present in daily life.
Haunted by lingering ghosts and memories that refuse to fade. It's a deep exploration of the collective labyrinths faced by a generation longing for connection.- The new album is their first LP in 3 years since the 2021 album “Late Bloom” and comprises 8 songs.
With Linger, they aim to amplify the melancholy tones of their frustration and rage.
The album is rooted in tradition, yet distinctly modern, featuring arrangements that skillfully blend contemporary styles with dreamy and eerie atmospheres. -
