  • Pet Shop Boys Premieres Cover of David Bowie's “All the Young Dudes” on BBC Radio 2

  • British synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, consisting of Neil Tennant (vocals) and Chris Lowe (keyboard), premiered a cover of British singer-songwriter David Bowie's “All the Young Dudes” on BBC Radio 2 The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show.

Also, the duo premiered a new remix of “New London boy” on BBC Radio 6 Music with Nick Grimshaw.
Both songs were released as their double A-side single on November 7, 2024.
The duo performed “All the young dudes” on BBC Radio 2's Piano Room back in February.
The original version of “All the young dudes” was released by British rock band Mott the Hoople in May 1972.
David Bowie contributed the song to the band and produced it.
After the release of the song, David Bowie also released it by himself in December 1972.
The track was written by David Bowie. The cover version was produced by James Ford.
  • “New London boy” is featured on their fifteenth studio album “Nonetheless”.
The remix version was recorded by American electronic music group Boy Harsher.
The track is about the duo lead singer Neil Tennant moving to London in 1972 at the height of the glam rock era when “All the Young Dudes” was a hit.
It was written by Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant. Produced by James Ford.
