RØRY Drops New Music Video for “SORRY I'M LATE”
British singer-songwriter RØRY dropped a new music video for “SORRY I'M LATE” directed by Lee Jones on November 4, 2024.
The song was released as the fourth single from her upcoming debut album “Restoration”.
RØRY first performed the song during her live show at Bristol in September.
She announced the debut album along with releasing the song on her 40th birthday (October 4)
The debut album is set to be released on January 31, 2025 and comprises 10 songs, produced by Kingdoms.
The track hints at the possibility of finding one's own path and timing, despite the struggles.
She shared, “Explaining to the music industry why I'm releasing my debut album at 40.”
The track was written by Dominic Lui, RØRY, and Sean McDonagh. Produced by Kingdoms.- RØRY said of the album, “I'm always fucking late... so of course, I'm dropping my debut album when I'm 40. My excuse? I can't exactly say my train was cancelled or that I was sick. Only, I was sick. For a long time. Sick with grief, pain, addiction-and eventually sick of my own bullshit. But I'm better now. Sobriety, therapy, a family. I never saw any of that coming... Restoration is my testimony of how I turned my shit show of a life around. It feels like the first hopeful record I've ever written. I want people who hate themselves, and who are struggling with drinking and relationships to understand that someone can come at any moment and save them. And that person is themselves.”

She embarks on her headline UK tour in support of the album. The tour kicks off at Tramshed in Cardiff on March 4, 2025.

RØRY said of the tour, “As I turn 40, it feels surreal to be preparing for my biggest UK tour yet. There was a time I didn't think I'd make it this far, but here I am, stronger than ever and ready to share Restoration with the world. This tour is a message to everyone who feels like they're 'too late' to chase their dreams. I want every fan in the crowd to feel like they're part of something bigger, like we're all rebuilding and restoring together.” - source : Apple Music
