Andy C Premieres New Song “Positions” featuring whoismoli on BBC Radio 1
British DJ Andy C premiered a new song “Positions” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
This time, he teamed up Belgian-British singer-songwriter Moli on the track.
For Andy C, the song is the follow-up to “Punk” with Ferry Corsten, which was released last month.
While, Moli joined in the song after releasing her latest song “Funeral” released back in June.
The track was written by Andrew Clarke, Johnny Newman, Molly Irvine, and Raphaella Christina Aristocleous. Produced by Johnny Newman and Andy C.
Andy C told Jack Saunders about the song, “It's an amazing lyric and vocal by Moli, and just absolutely when I heard it, blown away by the sentiment and the way she sang it. And we did some really cool stuff filming with her today for the drum shed show on Friday. So there's all holograms go in this that.”- He continued, “I say, Moli's written this amazing song, and the chords are there, and the melodies there. And it's just about it was already at 174, which is what our heart beats at. We're drum and bass. And I just thought it's just going to be perfect to meld in and give that big, that big energy. Festival has been kicking off this year.”

Andy C said of Drum and bass, “I mean, it's everything, isn't it. It's life, it's the energy, like I say, it's the emotion, it's the head and the stick. It's just It's got everything, and it can bring in so many other genres and so many influences as well. And also take them under its wing, and give some life to them and breathe them out as well. So Drum and bass is like a very unique music and beautifully right now in 2024 it's just never been bigger.” - source : BBC Radio 1
