Chandler Leighton Drops New Music Video for “pretty girl I'll make you famous”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Chandler Leighton dropped a new music video for “pretty girl I'll make you famous” directed by Nas Bogado on November 2, 2024.
The song was released as her last of the year on October 18, 2024 via Boom.Records.
Also, it the second single since her debut album “Proof You Weren't the Only One“, which was released back in April, following “touchin' me”.
The track was written by Chandler Leighton, Taylor Fernandez, and Stefano Pigliapoco who also produced it.
Chandler Leighton said of the song, “I think right now we are in a time with news of corruption in the entertainment industry, documentary's like 'quiet on set' and books written by actors induring child abuse, secret parties, artists speaking out about how they want to be respected out in public, and dealing with their mental health publicly in the eyes of the media, now was a good time to release this.”- She continued, “For the past three years, I've made a tradition of releasing a spooky song for Halloween. It's been my favorite time of year, as it's been freeing to create a world, sometimes imaginative, of the darkness and light that sits around this season of gloomy weather and a winter approaching.”
She added, “This is my last song of the year, and truly the last one of its kind, and I'm very excited to show you what I've been working on. I feel more at home in my voice and self, than I ever have before, and I'm so excited to take you on a new journey next year.” -
