Jimmy & the Veil Releases New Song “Blink Twice”
American indie-rock singer-songwriter James Allen Wright, aka Jimmy & the Veil released the third single called “Blink Twice” on October 25, 2024, following “Diamonds” and “Aggressive Sales Tactics”.
The song is a deep and stirring reflection on mental health struggles, isolation, and the importance of human connection.
Also, the track was inspired by the turbulent and powerful beauty of the North Carolina coastline.
He wrote the song and co-produced with Will Beasley.
James Allen Wright said of the song, “When I was going through a dark season, I found a lot of inspiration in the violently beautiful NC Coastline. I wanted this song to possess the emotional crashes and rhythmic persistence that mimics 'that' beating we sometimes receive from life.”- The track was written from the perspective of supporting another person in their time of need, serving as a comforting reminder that even the toughest times will pass.
