Great Good Fine Ok Announces New EP “SEVEN”, Shares New Song “Let's Talk” with Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness
Los Angeles-based synth-pop duo Great Good Fine Ok, consisting of Jon Sandler (vocals) and Luke Moellman (production), has announced their upcoming seventh EP “SEVEN” will be released on January 24, 2025 via Nettwerk.
The new EP follows up the 5-track EP “EXIST”, which was released back in March.
From the EP, the duo released the second single called “Let's Talk” on October 25, 2024.
On the track, the duo teamed up with American singer-songwriter Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.
The track digs deep into the complexities of human emotions and the importance of open communication.
It was written by Andrew Ross McMahon, Jonathan Max Sandler, and Luke Moellman. Produced by Luke Moellman and Will Graefe.
The duo said of the song, “This honest and vulnerable collaboration with Andrew McMahon explores our greatest fears and insecurities. Addressing concepts like fear, trust, and shame we delve into heavy territory. Whether it's fear about health, family, careers, rejection etc., we can all relate to having shadows. Maybe the best cure is to communicate honestly and often with the ones we love. To simply talk about it all. That's what this song is doing.”- The duo shared on social media, “On April 11, 2023 Andrew came to Luke's studio in LA for a writing session. It was our first time ever meeting and he was generous enough to literally open up his journal and share some passages. We ended up writing the entire song that day, almost exactly how you hear it. Honored to have such an incredible artist on one of our most personal and meaningful songs.”

The new EP comprises 5 songs, with guest appearances from Danielle Breadberry, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, and Marc E. Bassy.
The duo said of the EP, “'SEVEN' is our most stylistically eclectic EP yet. Both musically and lyrically we explore the full scope of GGFO. We jump between vastly different genres and explore concepts ranging from playful and light to somber and heavy. Another highlight of this EP is the diverse group of collaborators. We Include some of our favorite artists from different musical worlds to help us create this new and dynamic chapter.” - source : Apple Music
