Hollie Kenniff Announces New Album “For Forever”, Shares Title Track
Canadian-American composer Hollie Kenniff has announced her upcoming fourth studio album “For Forever” will be released on December 6, 2024.
The album follows up the 2023 album “We All Have Places That We Miss” and is the first release under her new label Nettwerk.
The album comprises 11 songs, which were written and recorded over the last several years dating back to 2021, produced by Hollie Kenniff.
Hollie Kenniff said of the album, “This collection of songs is a celebration of the moments that stay with us and the emotions that resonate long after they've passed-moments we hold onto for forever. ”
From the album, she released the title track on October 25, 2024.
On the track, her 11-year-old son played piano. The track was written and produced by Hollie Kenniff.- Hollie Kenniff said of the song, “I think people are drawn to authenticity, so I try to let the music speak for itself rather than relying on hype or following certain trends which are quickly worn out or forgotten.”
She added, “The title track features my 11-yo son on piano. I laid down an ambient bed and piano chords and asked him to come up with a melody and was so impressed with what he wrote! He's been studying piano for the past several years.” - source : Apple Music
