  • Jai Wolf Announces New Album “The Red Eye Home”, Shares New Song “Water Sign” featuring Aluna

  • New York-based Bangladeshi electronic music producer Jai Wolf has announced his sophomore album “The Red Eye Home” will be released on November 15, 2024 via Mom+Pop Music.

This marks his first album in five years since the 2019 debut album “The Cure To Loneliness” and comprises 10 songs.
From the album, he released the third single called “Water Sign” on October 23, 2024, following “Heaven Is Calling” and Want It All” featuring Evalyn.
On the track, he teamed up with British singer-songwriter and former AlunaGeorge, Aluna.
This marks the first collaboration between Jai Wolf and Aluna.
The track was written by Aluna Francis, Manfred Lim, and Sajeeb Saha. Produced by Sajeeb Saha, Aluna Francis, Manfred Lim, and JNATHYN.

Jai Wolf said of the song, “When I first met Aluna, we actually didn't write any music for the entire session and just chatted for 6 hours getting to know each other. In that time, I learned she was a water sign, just like me (she's a cancer and I'm a scorpio). It felt like a fun and original concept to explore in our songwriting. Sonically, I challenged Aluna and myself to create a groove and mood that felt otherworldly in comparison to our usual sonic palettes. We are proud to present our song 'Water Sign' for the world to hear!”
  • The new album exhibits unprecedentedly piercing lyricism and opens up into explosive dance breakdowns veering from house and R&B to new wave and synth-pop.

Jai Wolf said of the album, “My sophomore album, The Red Eye Home, is a devastating exploration of melancholy & sound. I went through some of the most turbulent moments of my life while writing this record and instead of fighting against the storm, I let it shepherd me to new ground. I absolutely can't wait for people to hear a brand new side of me they haven't heard before.”

He added, “A big theme of this album is looking deeply inward, assessing all your feelings, and how to reckon with them.”
