Biig Piig Premieres New Song “Favourite Girl” on BBC Radio 1
London-based Irish singer-songwriter Biig Piig premiered a new song “Favourite Girl” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song will appear on her upcoming debut album “11:11”, which is set to be released on February 7, 2025.
It was written by Biig Piig, Michael Stafford, and Zach Nahome who also produced the track.
Biig Piig told Jack Saunders about the song, “I just felt like when I was writing the song, it was kind of from a perspective of this Barbie esque world, and I kind of wanted to write from that perspective. And so, it's just like a little cute song, little flirty song painted that way.”- The debut album is her first project in two years since the 2023 mixtape “Bubblegum”.
She said of the album, “Title is 1111, it's coming on the seventh of Feb next year, 2025. It's been working on it for like, two years, and it's just a big mishmash of memories and feelings and love and loss, and it's gonna be out, finally.” - source : BBC Radio 1
