Elias Rønnenfelt Drops New Music Video for “Doomsday Childsplay”
Danish punk rock band Iceage's frontman Elias Rønnenfelt will release his debut solo album “Heavy Glory” this Friday (October 25th) via Escho.
From the album, he released a new music video for “Doomsday Childsplay” on October 21, 2024.
The video was directed by Bill Taylor, starring Bernardino Femminielli, Nadia Moussa, Wenxin Zhang, and Ash Fjeldhagen.
The song is the third track of the album. It was written and produced by Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, with production by Nis Bysted.
The track features Joanne Robertson on backing Vocals, Peter Peter Schneidermann on guitar, Dan Kjær Nielsen on drums, Anders “AC” Christensen on double bass and Felix Havstad Ziska on strings.- The album comprises a 12-track, which Elias Rønnenfelt recorded in Copenhagen in chapters and moments over the course of a year.
All songs were written and produced by Elias Rønnenfelt and co-produced by Nis Bysted.
Collaborators include Iceage's Dan Kjær Nielsen, Danish punk godfather Peter Peter, and singers Joanne Robertson and Fauzia.
Elias Rønnenfelt started making the album in the spring of 2022 and wrote the songs during his tour. They were designed to be played anywhere.
Elias Rønnenfelt said of the album, “I've done this so many times, but capturing and crystallising an album remains a singular ritual, just with different circumstances. We are capturing something that is hard to hold down.” - Photos by Jonas Bang
