Jordan Adetunji Premieres New Song “Options” featuring Lil Baby on BBC Radio 1
British rapper Jordan Adetunji premiered a new song “Options” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
This time, he teamed up with American rapper Lil Baby on the track.
The song is the follow-up to “KEHLANI", which was released back in June.
It was written by Aaron Watkins, Clementine Douglas, Danny Casio, Dominque Jones, Jordan Adetunji, Jordan Christie, Saul Milton, and Will Kennard. Produced by Chase & Status, Danny Casio, J Rick, and Villa Beatz.
The accompanying music video was directed by Luis De Pena.
Jordan Adetunji said of the song, “'Options' depicts the story of myself and another woman both having the freedom to explore our 'options' of partners, but ultimately deciding to choose each other in the end. It's been nice being able to collaborate with Lil Baby on this song as he was one of the first artists to reach out to me after 'KEHLANI' took off.”- Jordan Adetunji told Jack Saunders about the song, “Everything is so fresh and new, and it feels exciting bringing a new little vibe to sound and everything, which is really, really cool. Chase's taste on production, nothing beats us, iconic, and Lil Baby hopping on the beach. I was amazing. I made this around the same time after 'KEHLANI', so I was still in that kind of vibe. So that's why it's a similar type of vibe, which I thought great. Let's drop this now before I move on to the next stuff. Because the next stuff is a whole elevation. And I wanted to give still a last touch of 'KEHLANI' before we go into the next stuff.”

He continued, “Basically, he had sent me, like some fire emojis to my Instagram. And I was like, Oh, this is crazy, like Lil Baby. And this is like, the first couple weeks when 'KEHLANI' actually came out. And then after that, I had seen him outside Coco, I think Travis was doing an event or something, and I seen him with he was with Travis and stuff. And he actually came and walked up to me, and I was like, 'Oh, damn,' it was just crazy. And he said, 'Bro, we gotta do something.' I was like, 'Yeah, I'm down.' And I had the song, and I sent it to him. I sent him two songs, and he did two verses, and he sent me two verses of the song. And I was like, 'Yeah, this is dope.'” - source : BBC Radio 1
