With the track, myah showcases her unique storytelling as she blends music and film, drawing inspiration from her experiences as a filmmaker.
In the video, she delivers a clever and poignant take on Hollywood, fame, love, and heartbreak as she parodies the films of her ex, turning her personal story into a larger commentary on the intersection of relationships and pop culture.
myah said of the video, “‘the lobby’ is a dual breakup anthem and commentary on Hollywood. There's this idea that if you aren't ‘famous’ or ‘known,’ you don't have value and can't make a splash, which really isn't true.
