49th & Main Releases New Song “So Low”
Irish indie-electronic duo 49th & Main, consisting of Ben O’Sullivan (producer) and Paddy King (vocals/multi-instrumental), released new song “So Low” on October 15, 2024 via Counter Records.
The song is the fourth single of 2024, following “Can’t Walk Away” with A Little Sound, “Hold On” with SHEE and “Self Sabotage” with Main.
This track has quietly evolved over the years, capturing the strange, disorienting feeling of Sunday afternoons when a great weekend is already a blur.
It embodies the sound of fleeting moments, love, life, and the sensation of time speeding up.
The track was written and produced by Ben O’Sullivan, Maya Randle, and Patrick King.
The duo said of the song, “The sentiment behind the track is love, life, and partying. How weeks really start to merge just because the precious weekend passes by fast. It seems like we’ve started to notice the weekends go faster and faster as we’ve grown older. I would describe the track as how you feel on a Sunday, if you’ve had a good weekend.”- They continued, “So low is actually one of our oldest tracks. It’s one we’ve always had in the running but just the pieces came together quite slowly for it, we knew it was a strong sound and very much a song we didn’t want to get wrong.”
